| Presented by UF School of Art + Art History; co-sponsored by Marston Fund and the Sculpture Infinite Energy Fund. (Faculty host: Sean Miller) Tea Mäkipää creates installations, architectural works and videos that convey critical insights regarding our planet's sustainability and the western way of life. Themes in her work include consumerism, environmental issues, social-economic differences, as well as globalization's disadvantages. Mäkipää investigates strategies of human coexistence and social behavior, as well as the human race’s possibilities for coexistence with other species.
